Privacy Policy

MilkenLabs (“MilkenLabs”, “we”, “us”) builds an intelligence layer that runs on the CCTV infrastructure oil and gas operators already have. For personal data processed through our website, MilkenLabs acts as a data controller. For data processed on behalf of a customer through the platform, MilkenLabs generally acts as a data processor under that customer’s instructions.

Information you give us.When you submit the “Request a demo” form we collect your name, company, role, the number of facilities you operate, your work email, and any message you include.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the website we may collect standard technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed, in order to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.

Platform data.When an operator uses our platform, we process camera feeds and the data derived from them (for example safety events, zones, and compliance records) on that operator’s behalf and under their instructions.

• To respond to demo requests and communicate with you.

• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use demo-request details for advertising.

Our platform analyzes video from cameras our customers already operate. Where a customer enables facial recognition to map events to specific employees, that feature is consent-gated and configured by the customer. The customer is responsible for establishing a lawful basis, providing required notices, and obtaining any consent for monitoring and biometric processing at their sites. MilkenLabs processes this data only to provide the service and under the customer’s instructions.

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run our business, under contracts that require them to protect it. These include our cloud hosting and database providers, and the messaging and email services we use to route demo notifications. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described here, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Platform data is retained according to each customer’s configuration and contract.

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encryption of credentials at rest, access controls, and network protections. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect the data entrusted to us.

We may process and store data in countries other than the one in which you are located. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with applicable law.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@milkenlabs.com. If your data is processed by an operator through our platform, please direct your request to that operator, and we will assist them as their processor.

Our website and platform are intended for business use and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
